sorry for the lack of postage...

Hey everyone!

I am sorry that I haven't blogged in awhile. This week has been one roller coaster, and it isn't going to stop for awhile...

I have spent numerous hours at the school doing nothing at musical rehearsal. I feel like this year I am being very alienated from the cast (well, not the guys, but the girls), because I have no scenes with them. I am super bored with my part and stuff. Yay, South Pacific! (barf!)

Uh, a notable mention is that on Tuesday I went to "Rain: The Beatles Experience" with Brandon and his parents. It was an awesome night of the Beatles, except for the sad news we found out when we went to Red Robin for dinner. Heath Ledger died. It was sad. It was all over the tv. It kind of made our fun evening depressing. At Red Robin, Brandon won a stuffed chicken in a game machine, and we named it Paul Heath Lennon, but we call him Heath, in memory of Heath Ledger.

Hmm.... tomorrow might be glow bowling or something.

Next week we have finals! Soon I will be done with the hell I know as AP English. Thank goodness.

Erm... yeah. I am gonna go. I am tired.

stir-fryday night.

We ended up not having a two hour delay today, which sucked mucho. However, I did get out of the pep rally, and so did my good friend Nikki.

We both got out at 12:45 and we went to my house and chilled and watched the 100 best celebrity bodies on E!. Then at 3 she had to go back to the school for musical rehearsal. I didn't have to go back though, because my character is quite special, and I am not in the ensemble numbers.

So yeah, basically I spent this whole entire evening doing nothing except surf the web and play the guitar.

I did make myself some awesome chicken stir-fry for dinner, and I have a whole bunch left over so that I can eat it for lunch tomorrow. Yum!

I am kind of tired. Under normal circumstances I would probably want to discuss another topic in a blog, but I am too entirely pooped to do so.

So I guess this is g'night.

a snowy day in york, pa

Why hello, and welcome to my first ever blog. I see this as a kind of momentous occasion, but you may see it as just an ordinary day. Either way, I have decided to blog so that I can vent about day to day life, talk about important (and a lot of very non-important) issues, and just let whatever I am thinking get heard, or shall I say read.

I guess that I should probably introduce myself. My name is Jill. I am 17 and I am a senior in high school. I enjoy candle lit dinners, cuddling, and long walks on the beach... no really, I am into music, I play the guitar, I love musical theatre, and in the fall I will be a freshman at Temple University in the ghetto of Philly. That is enough about me. You will sure learn a lot more with posts to come, so yeah.

Anyway, now to business. That sounds so authoritative and harsh. I like it. Back to the point. It is snowing right now. At school everyone waited all day, and every time I looked out the window I saw nothing. Zip. Zero. Zilch. There was no snow to be seen. Well, then I went to fifth period (AP English... I hate it....), and of course my teacher had the blinds down, so we couldn't see out of the window. After AP English, it was the end of the day, and I walked to the door near where my car is parked, and I looked out, and all I saw was snow. It was everywhere. My eyes seriously lit up with joy. I secretly prayed in my head that we wouldn't have school tomorrow to make it a four day weekend (and I am not even really religious).

After a long drive home (I drove super slow so I wouldn't get in an accident), I came inside and almost directly got on my laptop. I chatted with some of my peeps, checked my myspace, and now I am here, posting my first blog.

It would majorly suck if we had school tomorrow. The reason why can be spelled out with two words: PEP RALLY. If there is one thing I hate more than our school sports, it is the seasonal pep rallies that go along with them. I don't know why, but some people in my school actually enjoy cramming about 1,500 people in a not very large gym and screaming for about 2 and a half hours, while at the same time getting a massive case of bleacher butt. I for one do not enjoy this at all. I am proclaiming here that I will not go to the pep rally tomorrow. I'll have my mom give me an early dismissal so that I can just some home and chill for a couple hours before I would have to go back to the prison (school) and go to musical rehearsal.

Well, I guess I am going to just leave this blog at this. I am hungry, so I might go and chow down on some food. However I will leave you with this video that you may have already seen on youtube, but I still think is rad. It is the beat-boxing flute player Greg Patillo. He's sick.
